House Dance Competition
This year's House Dance Competition was a magnificent display of collaboration and creativity with all four Houses choreographing a piece based on 'the environment'.
Each House was marked on participation, technique, expression and creativity and were adjudicated by Mr Kevin Young, a professional dancer and choreographer with over 20 years’ experience including working with artists such as One Direction, Florence and the Machine, JLS, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Plan B. Mr. Young was massively impressed but after much deliberation awarded the House Dance trophy to Brearley. The following pupils were also awarded:
The Most Promising Dance: Ella (Lower Sixth)
Most Engaging Dancer to Watch: Violet (Senior 7)
Congratulations to Brearley and well done to all of the performers and choreographers involved.
