Senior 9 and 10 Trip to Rouen
Senior 9 and 10 pupils enjoyed a wonderful trip to Rouen during the May Half Term.
Staying with host families, they had the opportunity to hone their conversation skills around the dinner table, and language lessons every morning further improved their linguistic abilities. In the afternoons, pupils had a guided tour of Rouen's fine art museum, including many iconic Monet paintings of Rouen's beautiful cathedral, undertook a photography competition with scavenger hunt elements, learnt about the life of Joan of Arc (famously put to death in Rouen) and visited a confectionary factory where they made typical (and delicious!) Rouennais specialities.
