Spring Term Sports Success
The spring term was filled with sporting victories!
Water polo - Well done to our U15 boys' water polo team for their success in the National Plate Competition finals. Winning three out of four games speaks volumes about their dedication and teamwork. Special mention to pupils from Senior 10 - Daniel for his incredible saves, Max and Henry for their scoring prowess, and Michael for his defensive skills. Although we finished 3rd on goal difference, we are very proud of them as they made history for Ibstock water polo.
Hockey - Ibstock played Emanuel School in the Annual Friday Night Lights U18 hockey match. An intensely competitive game which saw both goalkeepers continually tested, Ibstock won in the final shuffle, winning 4-3. Well done to the whole team and a special mention to Polly who won Player of the Match.
Football - U15 girls won a hard-fought National Shield semi-final against Forest School, Essex. After a very even first half, Ibstock went into the second half with confidence and dominated the majority of possession, maintaining composure for the final five minutes to see the game out.
The girls now look forward to competing in the final which will take place at Hertfordshire FA County Ground on 2 May.
Rugby - The U14As boys' rugby team secured a Plate victory at the London Oratory School 7s following an impressive performance in the group matches, along with wins against QE Barnet, Isleworth and Syon.
