World Ocean Day
‘Planet Ocean: tides are changing’ was the theme for World Ocean Day 2023 and we celebrated with a range of activities to raise awareness.
Pupils and staff wore blue to show their support for ocean conservation, with donations benefitting the Marine Conservation Society.
Geography and PSHE lessons were themed around ocean sustainability, while our Sixth Form cabinet members prepared a special assembly.
During lunchtime, our in-house catering team showcased sustainably sourced seafood, emphasising the importance of responsible fishing practices and our commitment to sustainability in our kitchens.
Pupils enjoyed a fun and informative day, learning about sustainability, conservation, and the importance of our oceans.
